_Terrans have the best defense of all the races. This is a great advantage since their defenses cost much less and are more effective than both the zerg and protoss.

-Main Build-

___Terrans have a little different build start. Mainly because thier Barracks takes the longest out of all the races to build. Start with you basic build-up, but when you get your 7th or 8th Scv have it build a Barracks, and then the next one to build a Supply Depot. This way you will get your Barracks about the same time everyone else does, and start to build Marines. Around your 10-12th scv have one build another Barracks. When you have around 15-20 Scvs mining minerals, concentrate on the vespene gas intake, building a Vespene Refinery. I suggest build up to 4 barracks for you next move. For defence, which Terrans are about the best at, build a couple Bunkers somewhere close to you mineral deposits so that you can protect your Scvs. Make sure to build a Engineering Bay to upgrade Marines, an Acadamy for Firebats, and also a Factory.

___Next just about anything goes, you can build 2 or 3 factories and get Seige Mode, for a heavy siege attack, go for 3 or 4 starports and launch an air attack, or go for Ghosts and Nukes (I suggest having more than 1 base for this one).



-Main Build Alternate-

___I've also found this to work just as effective if not better. Instead of building the barracks before the Supply Depot, build the Supply Depot with your 7th Scv. On your 9th or 10th build a Barracks, and on your 11th or 12th build another. Rest is continuing with the above strat.



-Marine Rush-

___ The best way for the Marine rush is to start off with the above Main Build Alternate strat. On your 7th Scv build a farm, then on your 10th build a Barracks, and another with your 11th or 12th. When one of the Barracks are done have that Scv build another Supply Depot. Get from 15-20 mining minerals, and make sure to pump out Marines constantly. (For the supply depots, the best thing to do is just have one scv build one supply depot after the other so that you wont have to worry too much on not having enough to support your army). After you finish building scv's for minerals, concentrate on the vespene gas. With any reserve money you have build axtra barracks, maybe somehwere around 4-6. For this strat you want to make sure that you do not spend too much vespene gas (esp Firebats and Siege Tanks), instead let the gas collect and build up while you build constant Marines. You can however build and Acadamy get both upgrades, the stimpac and extra range.

___If this marine rush doesnt do the job, the extra gas that you collected will now be put to good use. Build Starports with Control Towers 3-5 should do, along with a Science Facility and get as many Science Vessals as possible. With these Science Vessals use the Matrix on your marines when attacking, this is very effective since your Marines now have a shield with 250 hit points!!!. Just 15-20 matrixed and stimpacked Marines and do some heavy damage.



-Siege Rush-

___The main purpose of this one is in a Terran vs Terran game. Marines do almost nothing to Bunkers, so you will need something to take it out without so much loss of military. It is realy important to beat the other person to Siege Tanks in Terran vs Terran games. This can be done by just building 2 Barracks at start, and waiting for 200 minerals and 100 gas to build a factory (have to collect gas asap).

___This build order should help. Supply Depot at your 7th Scv, Barracks on your 8th, another Barracks on your 10th. Get a Refinery and when one of your Scvs are done with the Barracks have it build another Supply depot. Build up on marines, but try not to drop too far below the 100 mineral mark, and as soon as you get 100 vespian gas, wait for the minerals to collect and build a Factory. Next start building up on Marines and Supply Depots when needed (continue building up on Scvs all while doing this). Research Siege Mode as soon as you get the attachment and your on your way. The rest is just getting a few Siege tanks and breaking Bunkers.



-Using spells and abilities-

Matrix - gives a shield barrier that takes up to 250 damage (Science Vessal ability)

___Used on marines give them a total of 290 energy, which is very damaging. With around 15-20 of these it is possible to take out the whole or a good sized amount of a person's army, but even just a few Matrixed will help.

___Extend the life of your Battlecruisers by casting Matrix on them, and when it runs out cast again.
